The last phase of Bernard Avenue between Ethel Street and Gordon Drive is complete and now open to traffic.

Crews completed the $2.1 million project which now has an expanded storm system.

Existing water and sewer systems have been replaced with improved capacity and the intersection of Ethel Street and Bernard Avenue has been upgraded.

Curb and sidewalk restorations will be completed by the end of the year with top lift paving and final landscaping to be completed in spring 2009.
