Too lazy to vote

To the editor:
RE: Not ashamed to have not voted

I can assure you of this right off the top. I am one of the least politically minded people you will meet. In fact, I despise politics. But, I do think it is worth taking a few precious moments out of my day to at the very least do the survey that was on Castanet, to see who the candidates were that I was aligned with in the answers.

There were 20 something questions and after I got my answers in, I found out who the councillors were that I had answered in common with. That surely wasn't too difficult now was it?

Your wordy response really summed up one thing. Laziness. Congratulating the masses for not taking the time to see who is going to run their city, to me, doesn't make much sense.
