An autopsy has been completed on a body found in the rubble of a structure fire last week.
The Coroner Service has determined the body found in a grower’s shack in the 6300 block of Pleasant Valley Road is that of a male between the ages of 14 and 30.
Vernon RCMP spokesperson, Gord Molendyk, says they are able to determine that foul play has been ruled out, but they are still waiting on toxicology results.
“The police and coroners service are appealing to the public to identify this subject. The body is that of a male between 14 to 30 years old and had a long black ponytail. The male was wearing a black with orange sports type jacket.”
He says the jacket’s colour pattern may have been that of the BC Lions or Philadelphia Flyers.
