Nailin' Paylin
It’s no secret that there is a film being made by Larry Flynt’s Hustler studios about Sarah Palin. The porno, called Nailin’ Paylin, should be available online and in “specialty” video stores soon. If the notion of viewing pornography turns you off, but you’re still curious about the dialogue of the film, you’re in luck. TMZ has acquired the script for the movie (why do pornos bother with scripts?), and I’ve gotta say it’s incredibly funny! One may think of it like an extended SNL skit that isn’t censored, and would air on HBO instead of NBC.
In all seriousness, the script reads like a slapstick comedy, but with interludes of sexual escapades dispersed throughout. The filthy words are liquid-papered out, but it’s not hard to tell what they’re saying. So far I’m only 10 pages in, and I’m disappointed that the term “pole her ice cap” has yet to materialize. Check it out if you’re not too prudish and in need of a good laugh.
Too funny!
In other Palin news (of which there’s too much of, and I can’t wait until the election is over and she goes back to Alaska), it has now been supposedly confirmed that the VP candidate WILL appear on Saturday Night Live to parody Tina Fey on the October 25th show.
Palin's last stand?
Deaf Leppard’s performance all upside down
My misspelling of Def Leppard is intentional and not a typo. I call them Deaf today because they had to have been deaf when they did their sound check before performing on Hockey Night in Canada last night in Detroit. They sounded TERRIBLE. And what is up with Joe Elliot’s makeup? Was he trying to look like Ozzy Osborne? To make matters worse, when he hoisted the cup and set it down, he laid it upside down. What a disaster! I used to be a huge fan, and this was hard to watch. I only have video of the Stanley Cup debacle – I’ll spare you having to relive their performance.
Pucking bad performance
E (Eric) from Entourage directs Gisele Bundchen
Kevin Connolly, who plays E on Entourage (which aired one of its worst episodes ever on Sunday, after three straight strong weeks), has been asked to direct Gisele Bundchen’s music video for a song called Black Cowboys. Several questions arise: Why is Gisele Bundchen singing? Haven’t we heard enough of models and actresses trying their hand at music? And how did Kevin Connolly end up with this gig? Did he win some big “Direct a Gisele Video” contest?
Some great pictures from the shoot can be found here:

A public service announcement from... Hilary Duff?
But this one is well done. I’m even guilty of using the word “gay” in a negative connotation myself sometimes. When you think about it, it really is insulting.
Good stuff from Duff
Sneak peek of Oprah on 30 Rock
NBC has begun promos for their November 6th premiere of Emmy Award winning 30 Rock, featuring Oprah Winfrey. Maybe Oprah and Jennifer Aniston’s presence will give the show the ratings it deserves. I’m looking forward to it.
It’s nice to see Def Leppard getting more money from Let’s Get Rocked for this NBC campaign, but did the NBC marketing team hear the Leps perform last night? Hope not!

Last night’s TV quick wrap-up
The Office was stellar as usual (please keep Amy Ryan around for the rest of the season), Survivor somehow manages to keep things interesting, SNL’s special Weekend Update show was only mildly amusing, and I hope to get around to Life on Mars this weekend. Last night’s ratings follow.
Have a great long weekend, and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Last night’s TV ratings (courtesy: zap2it.com)
"Survivor: Gabon" put CBS on top at 8 p.m. with a 7.8/13. "Ugly Betty," 5.8/9, snagged second for ABC. "My Name Is Earl," 4.4/7, and the premiere of "Kath & Kim," 4.7/7, were third for NBC. Game 1 of the National League Championship series snagged fourth for FOX, ahead of "Smallville," 2.6/4, on The CW.
The "CSI" premiere, with the team tracking down Warrick's killer, scored a 13.7/21 at 9 p.m. -- far and away the night's biggest audience. "Grey's Anatomy," 9.7/15, kept ABC in second. NBC stayed in third with "The Office," 5.4/8, and a "Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday" special, 6.3/9. FOX's baseball coverage earned a 4.3/6, while The CW dropped off a little with "Supernatural."
At 10 p.m., the debut of "Life on Mars" won the hour for ABC with a 7.7/13. CBS' "Eleventh Hour" premiere was right behind at 7.3/12, but it lost a lot more of its lead-in than "Mars." NBC's "ER" drew a 6.0/10, and led the hour in the 18-49 demo.
