They didn't have a doctor's note.

Five men were arrested in connection with a prescription drug trafficking operation in the 2400 block of Westbank Tuesday.

Constable Steve Holmes says a search warrant was executed just after 4:30 p.m.

“The RCMP seized hundreds of pills of prescription medication including Morphine, Oxycodone and Trazidone tablets. Many more pills of unknown content were also seized, along with drug score sheets, cutting agents, over 50 grams of marijuana and several pellet guns including a replica handgun,” says Holmes.

He says the five men are all Westbank residents and are all known to police.

They were released on a promise to appear and will be facing recommended charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
