Janice Henry latest council contender

You can add Janice Henry to the list of candidates seeking a seat on Kelowna City Council.

Henry, a long-time Kelowna resident made her announcement Tuesday.

"My life's path has brought me to a place where I have considerable experience in collective leadership," says Henry.

"The City of Kelowna continues to face a number of issues and pressures. It is the role of the council to help navigate these sometimes complex and diverse issues.

She says the Simpson Covenant, downtown comprehensive zone and affordable housing are three key issues.

Henry is the Executive Director of the Central Okanagan Heritage Society. Before than, she spent 11 years as Executive Director of the Central Okanagan Foundation.
