Will he or won't he?

Penticton Mayor, Jake Kimberley, will put an end to speculation on his political future Thursday.

The mayor emailed a one sentence news release late Tuesday saying he would make an announcement on his political future Thursday morning.

"This message is to advise that Mayor Kimberley will be announcing his decision for the November 15, 2008 municipal election at the (new) Penticton Golf and Country Club at 9.00 am. Thursday October 2, 2008."

Kimberly served as mayor of Penticton from 1990 to 1996, before being elected again in 2005.
