Two fires overnight had Kelowna Fire Department Crews hopping.

The largest was about 10:30 Thursday night in the alley behind Quality Greens on Spall, where some pallets had ignited.

The fire also damaged fruit and vegetable bins and caused a bit of damage to an nearby business on Kent.

At about 2 a.m., crews were called back at the Rutland home on Clarissa Road where a man died early Monday morning.

The house had reignited and officials say it doesn't appear suspicious.
