RCMP say three of the five men arrested during Wednesday's major grow-operation bust north of Beaverdell are from Kelowna while one is from Vancouver and the other Calgary.
Investigators seized over 5,100 mature pot plants from 15 greenhouses, which they say would have been transformed into nearly 2 million cigarettes once harvested.
The men, all non-Caucasian, range in age from 42 to 53.
Their names are being withheld pending their first court appearances October 8 and 9, on charges of producing and trafficking a controlled substance.
Constable, Steve Holmes, says the pot has been disposed of in an undisclosed area.
