Nomination forms are now available for anyone planning to run for election within the City of Kelowna.
Forms for mayor, council and school board can be picked up at the City Clerk's office at City Hall.
"The election office is now up an running out of the City Clerk's Division, and we're here to answer any questions potential candidates or electors may have," says Chief Election Officer, Stephen Fleming.
To be eligible to run for any of the positions, candidates must have lived in the province for the past six months, be a Canadian citizen and be 18 years of age or older on election day.
The period for filing nomination papers begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday, September 30 and closes at 4 p.m. Friday, October 10.
