Kelowna Fire crews and BC Forestry Service crews are responding to a forest fire on the Myra Forestry Service Road.
The fire was reported just after 2 p.m.
Forestry officials say the fire was originally reported as two hectares in size and considered a rank three fire. It is currently one hectare in size and is considered a rank 1 fire.
The Kelowna Fire Department is working as the ground response and air tankers have been dropping buckets of retardant on the area.
Officials are saying the fire is now completely under control. (3:49 p.m.)
