The Okanagan Winter Wine Festival is ready to launch its inaugural winter programming, and everyone is invited.

The festival takes place Jan. 22, 27 and 28 with the opening night for the festival to be held at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.

However, wine lovers can get an early taste of the upcoming event during Winter Sips at Vernon's Predator Ridge Jan. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m.

The afternoon Grand Tasting will feature Okanagan wines and food inspired by the Burgundy Region of France and will feature festival partners well-known for their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.

The event will feature 10 Okanagan wineries alongside a culinary showcase from Range Lounge & Grill at Predator Ridge.
