Tickets are still available for one of the Vernon Winter Carnival's most popular and longest-running events.

Sip & Savour is a showcase of domestic beer, craft beer and ciders from BC and across Canada.

It takes place Feb. 3 at The Prestige Vernon Lodge.

“It kind of takes over Suds and Cider, which was cider and beer, but this one is cider, beer, wine and food,” said Peter Kaz, with the VWC.

“We've got 21 vendors locked in. There will also be a great solo musician and a DJ. It's going to be a great night.”

Vendors will be offering tastings in exchange for tickets, which will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

In addition, the Sip & Savour food bar will allow participants to pair their favourite beverage with an array of appetizing options.

More than half of the available tickets have been sold.
