One man is dead as a result of a two vehicle accident on the Trans Canada Highway just west of Salmon Arm Wednesday.

A Toyota Camry collided head-on with a Dodge Ram pick-up killing the 76 year old male driver in the Camry.

The four people in the Dodge pick-up suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.

The name of the deceased has not been released.
