RCMP in Vernon are investigating a robbery at the Royal Bank branch in Polson Mall on Highway 6.

The robbery occurred about 2:45 p.m. Thursday.

"The suspect described as a white male about 5' 10" tall with short brown hair and a tattoo on the left side of his neck, entered the bank, produced a note to the teller and left with an undisclosed amount of cash," says RCMP spokesman, Gord Molendyk.

He says the man is believed to have fled in a light blue, mid 90's Ford pick-up.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Vernon RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
