Never Ever Days returning to Big White after 2-year break

Never Ever Days return

Big White Ski Resort is bringing back its Never Ever Days after a two season hiatus.

The sessions, starting Dec. 11, are a learn-to-ski program led by the Canadian Ski Council to teach would-be skiers and snowboarders the skills they need to graduate from greens to blues without breaking the bank.

For $25, newbie riders aged 19+ receive a beginner area lift ticket, a full day of ski and snowboard rentals, and two, two-hour lessons from a Big White instructor.

“It’s always exciting to learn a new sport, especially at such an attractive cost for young people,” says Michael Richards, director of Big White’s Ski & Board School.

“Participating in the national program Never Ever Days is a fantastic way for new skiers or snowboarders to meet the challenges of learning a new sport with the guidance from our professionals. Soon enough, they’ll be tackling top of mountain runs and really experiencing the life-long enjoyment of sliding on snow.”

The resort will be scheduling three additional Never Ever Days dates, with Feb. 11 confirmed, and the two other dates to be determined. Registrants are advised to bring warm mitts or gloves, goggles, jacket and pants, and other warm layers – as well as a credit card and photo ID.
