Stuff the Cruiser event returns this weekend, police say

Police accepting donations

Kamloops Mounties will be filling a police vehicle this weekend with unwrapped gifts and donations for local kids and teens.

Stuff the Cruiser is slated to run on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the Real Canadian Superstore, 910 Columbia St. W.

“Last year, the event helped collect two full van loads of gifts and $1,000 in cash and gift cards that were delivered to Christmas Amalgamated to distribute into holiday hampers,” Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Dana Napier said in a news release.

“Stuff the Cruiser is a great way for us to say thank you to Kamloops residents for all that they do, along with providing their donations safe transportation to Christmas Amalgamated and those who may need a little extra support this year.”

Anyone looking to donate but unable to make it to Superstore on Saturday can drop off items at the North Shore community policing office at 915 Seventh St.
