Lumby RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing senior.

Margit Lobesz, 79, was last seen around 3 p.m. June 14 at her home on Puckett Road in Cherryville.

At that time, it is believed she may have been picked up from her home in an unknown vehicle by someone she knew.

She is described as 4’11”, 55 lbs with gray curly hair and gray/brown eyes. She has a fair complexion and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing blue sweatpants with a white stripe running down the legs, a teal or light green sweater and may be carrying a scarf or shawl and a black purse.

Lobesz is currently on medication but has not had it for the last three days and may be disoriented.
