Three former members of the Kelowna Rockets are coming to the aid of the Kelowna RCMP.

Shea Weber of the Nashville Predators, Josh Gorges of the Montreal Canadians and Blake Comeau of the New York Islanders are signing autographs during the annual 'Free The Fuzz' event at the Kelowna Wal-Mart.

Gorges and Comeau will be on hand Saturday, May 24 at 10 a.m.

Weber was at the event Friday.

RCMP Constable, Steve Holmes and Auxiliary, Darryl Hazel, will be on the roof of Wal-Mart until 8 p.m. Saturday night.

They went on the roof at 8:30 Friday morning.

All money raised during 'Free The Fuzz' go to the B.C. Special Olympics.

This is the fourth annual event.

More than $33,000 was raised last year.

In all, about $85,000 has been raised during the previous three years.

Kelowna Councillor, Norm Letnick, has again put his hair on the line.

Letnick says he'll shave his head if the event raises $40,000 or more.
