Is this a sign of the Apocolypto? This is just too good. Even if I made it up I couldn’t come up with a better pair than these too. Seems like Mel and Brit took off together on a private jet to Costa Rica today (with a Spears parent in tow). I’m trying to figure out how this came to go down. Who called whom? Did Mel call Brit and say “Hey, sugartts, wanna come hang out with Mad Mel for the weekend?” Wow. If one were to ever be a fly on the wall. Story here:

Prince Von A-hole Needs to Keep His Yap Shut
Prince Von Anhalt, ninth husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor, more affectionately known to the press as Prince Von A-Hole, really lived up to his nickname today outside of a Starbucks in West Hollywood. He went off about how he dislikes Barrack Obama, and that Barrack’s wife Michelle is either a whore or a horror (it’s hard to decipher the words). Reverend Al Sharpton is furious (who can blame him) and told TMZ: "Prince Von Anhalt should be denounced for his insensitive and racist attack on Michelle Obama, a proud, well-educated, and refined mother and wife.” Perhaps if the paparazzi would leave PVA alone, he would go away. We can only be so lucky.
See the video of PVA’s rant:

Dolly’s Steamin’ Mad at Howard Stern
If you’ve ever listened to the Howard Stern Show, you may hear his crew doctor up content taken from celebrity audio books. They usually make the celebrity say some really nasty stuff, and sometimes the results are funny. Recently, their victim was Dolly Parton, and she ain’t laughin’. She’s even threatening to sue. Those segments really are in poor taste (much like most of Howard’s show), and I’m curious to see how this all turns out. I’ll admit that I used to be a Howard fan, but every time I turn on his show I find that he’s just not as relevant as he once was. If you like the “shock jock” thing, XM’s Opie and Anthony are much better.

And Speaking of Dolly...
She may not be as big as Dolly, but Christina Aguilera’s rackin’ up points in that department, too. TMZ is kind enough to provide some video:

Angelina’s Loose (but oh so luscious) Lips
If I were Angelina, I would be telling my co-stars to “Shut your pie holes!” Earlier in the week, Jack Black let it slip that she was pregnant with twins and in a separate interview Dustin Hoffman mentioned her due date of August 19th. The trio is in Cannes promoting their movie ‘Kung Fu Panda.’ Check out the link below for Natalie Morales interview of Angelina and Jack.

The Return of the Great Cornolio?
Mike Judge is considering doing a live action version of his MTV hit cartoon, Beavis and Butthead. This could be so cool, heh heh, heh heh, heh heh. Actors being brought up as potential stars are Sean William Scott as Beavis, and either Johnny Depp or Jon Heder as Butthead. The Hills’ Spencer Pratt would also make a good Beavis, but because he can’t act (even to play Beavis) that likely won’t happen.
The Office Season Finale
Tonight, we say goodbye to our friends at Dunder Mifflin for yet another few months. The writer’s strike was tough on us, and when The Office returned it was so nice to see the gang back. Tonight’s show is a one-hour special finale, and word is that the episode will feature more than its fair share of surprises. We also say a permanent (?) goodbye to Toby, Scranton’s lonely Human Resource representative. Should be a great one - I always find that when the writing team gets an hour to work with they’re able to pull off more and usually the results are solid. Don’t miss it!
