Contact with a high voltage line has sent one man to hospital.

It happened Sunday in Kelowna’s north end. An employee with FortisBC was doing upgrades to a substation when he came into direct contact with a high voltage line.

It is believed the incident occurred near the Tolko Sawmill.

Officials at Fortis say the man’s condition has not been released. Fortis and Worksafe BC are both looking into the accident.
