A traffic stop has resulted in one man facing drug charges.
A 20-year-old man was stopped by Kelowna RCMP for not wearing his seatbelt early Tuesday morning as he drove near Spall Road.
Corporal J. Silva says the man was found to be driving under the influence of drugs.
“He was found to be in possession of 45.5 grams of marijuana and a large quantity of money. He is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking,” says Silva.
The man’s driver’s licence was also suspended for driving under the influence of a narcotic.
