A hit-and-run involving a cyclist has police in Penticton searching for the driver.

It happened at around 8 a.m. Tuesday at Lakeshore Drive and Front St.

A green Mazda MX3 hit a 53 year old male cyclist, then took off.

Police found the vehicle, but not the driver.

RCMP say the cyclist is listed in critical condition.

Penticton RCMP are asking anybody with more information on this or who witnessed the accident to contact them at 492-4300.
