Pair of Sea-doo's stolen
by Dean Unger - Story: 39162
May 7, 2008 / 12:00 pm

On Monday, May 5th Vernon police responded to a report of two Sea-doo's and a trailer being stolen from a house on 38th avenue.

The thieves entered the home through the garage and managed to wrangle the 2001 blue and white GTX 250, and the 2002 blue and white GTXDI 300, onto the trailer before leaving the scene with trailer in tow.

Vernon RCMP spokesperson Gordon Molendyk, says it appears the suspects knew exactly what they were after.

“A pick-up truck was seen in the area of Tronson Road a short time later by the City of Vernon By-Law officers,” Molendyk says. “Indications are the truck was stolen as well.”

The police are asking anyone with any information about the stolen Sea-doo’s and trailer to contact them, or Crime Stoppers.
