Vernon RCMP have released surveillance photos of a man involved in an armed robbery at Corner Grocery.

The robbery occurred shortly before noon May 1.

Police say a man produced a handgun and demanded cash from a store clerk.

The suspect fled in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as Caucasian in his late teens or early 20's, 5'6" to 5'8" and about 160 pounds. He has short, light brown hair in a crew cut style and was wearing a light brown t-shirt, with an orange colour graphic on the front, and blue jeans.

Police say no one was hurt during the robbery.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Vernon RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
