The Penticton Centennial Celebration is well under way as residents continue to enjoy events marking the 100th Anniversary of the city’s incorporation.
Innovative local businesses are getting into the spirit as well, hosting events or developing specific products to enhance community interaction and enjoyment of the year-long festival.
Teas and Weaves is one such local business, with proprietor Claire Keys contributing to the celebration by concocting a fresh blend of tea which she has named Paradise Fruit Bowl.
“This caffeine-free tea tastes wonderful hot or cold,” says Andrina Iliffe of the Penticton Centennial Advisory Committee.
Local members of the Friends of the Museum were able to enjoy the Centennial Tea during a recent visit to Teas and Weaves.
The Penticton Centennial Advisory Committee keeps an updated events calendar on its Centennial Celebration website, where residents can find new ways to celebrate virtually every week.
