Canada Post is searching for a new location for its office in Rock Creek.

The Crown corporation says their location at the Rags Relics and Rutabagas store in Rock Creek will close on Nov. 18 “due to reasons beyond our control.”

“We remain committed to serving the people of Rock Creek and we are in the process of reaching out to local businesses in the area to host the post office,” said Canada Post in a statement to Castanet.

Canada Post says it will let the residents of Rock Creek known when they have more information.
