The former home of Whisk Bakery & Cafe sold for $100,000 over its list price and nearly $440,000 above its appraised value.
Re/Max Kelowna-MCL Real Estate Group reported to Glacier Media earlier this month that the free-standing retail building, located at 203-207 Rutland Rd., sold for $1.4 million after being listed at $1.3 million.
The owners of Whisk Bakery & Cafe attributed part of the reason for closing its business to the sale of the structure, which became official on Aug. 30.
The building has 3,420 square feet and two rental spaces. Its last appraised value was $961,000.
Re/Max Kelowna-MCL Real Estate Group’s Kris McLaughlin brokered the deal.
