It looks like arson.

The initial investigation has been completed at a contents fire which broke out on Renshaw Road in Kelowna Friday evening.

Assistant fire chief, Rod Miller, says the fire was the result of a break and enter.

“Items were missing from the home. The fire was contained to the basement area. Kelowna RCMP are continuing their investigation. The owners were out of town at the time and thankfully no one was injured,” says Miller.

Damage to the house is estimated at $25,000.
