A Kelowna winery will be featured at the B.C. Summer Games.

Bounty Cellars has been chosen to provide custom labelled wine as keepsake gifts to government officials and VIPs during the games from July 24 to 27.

Summer Games president, Ron Rubadeau, says Bounty Cellars was an obvious choice.

“Hosting the B.C. Summer Games provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase what Kelowna has to offer and since the wine industry is such an integral part of that, we wanted to feature a local winery,” says Rubadeau.

Bounty Cellars proprietor Ron Pennington says they will be custom labelling the wine with the B.C. Summer Games logo.

“We’re delighted to support such a great, community based athletic competition and have the chance to share our wine with so many visitors to the city,” says Pennington.

Bounty’s newest wines, a 2007 Gewürztraminer and a 2007 Pinot Blanc will be available by mid-April.
