The damage is extensive.

A fire on Renshaw Road Saturday evening did a heavy amount of damage to the home’s contents.

Assistant fire chief, Rod Miller, says the fire broke out just after 5:30 p.m.

“The fire started in the basement and is under investigation. KFD responded with three engines, one rescue, one platoon captain, one safety officer and one assistant chief for a total of 16 personnel. Estimated damage is $25,000,” says Miller.

It’s not known if anyone was injured.
