Foul play is not suspected, but the coroner is investigating.

A 40-year-old woman was reported missing to the Kelowna RCMP on March 18.

Constable Mike Philion says Search and Rescue assisted with the search on March 21, but were unsuccessful.

“On March 22, three men driving through the ‘mud bogs’ in the Postill Lake area observed a suspicious vehicle. After checking it, they discovered a deceased woman inside,” says Philion.

He says an RCMP investigation determined that foul play is not suspected.

The woman’s family has been notified her name has not been released.
