RCMP in the Central Okanagan are looking for a pair of robbers.

Two men entered the Liquor Depot Store on Highway 97 in Kelowna just after 8:30 p.m.

Staff Sergeant R. Reuter says upon reaching the counter, one of the men produced a handgun.

“It was placed against the employee’s arm while the suspect demanded money from the till. The two men left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and a bottle of liquor,” says Reuter.

He says the two men are described as Caucasian, one of them was wearing a black baseball cap which had a diamond shaped crest on it, he was wearing a black nylon jacket with small writing on the left front area.

“The second suspect was wearing a grey sweater and had wavy brown hair.”

A search of the area was conducted, but police were unable to locate the suspects.

The store employee was not injured.
