RCMP are investigating a sudden death in Kelowna.

Constable Julie Rattee says police were called to a residence in the McCulloch Heights Mobile Home Park just before 11:30 Wednesday morning.

“Police are treating this death as suspicious in nature and consequently there are members of the General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section on scene. The BC Coroner’s Service will also be attending the scene,” says Rattee.

She says investigators don’t feel other residents of the area need to be concerned.

Sources at the mobile home park say the home was owned by a man in his mid 30's or early 40's who lived alone.

He was apparently very quiet and had recently power washed his roof in preparation for winter.

He moved into the mobile home park less than a year ago.

The investigation is on-going and more information will be released as it becomes available.
