Casorso bridge opening
The Casorso Bridge will open to traffic at 4 p.m. Friday.
Two new roundabouts located at either end of the bridge, at Casorso and Swamp Roads and at Casorso and Benvoulin Roads, will also be in operation.
The new Casorso Bridge is a concrete structure complete with bicycle lanes, separated sidewalks and a lit underpass for the Mission Creek Greenway located at the north end. The Greenway is now fully accessible.
As previously announced in July, Swamp Road will remain closed over the winter with construction to continue in favourable weather conditions.
