Speed star Sandra Bullock sometimes wishes she and the two African-American children she adopted looked more like each other.
The Oscar winner guested on Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk Facebook Watch show on Tuesday and admitted parenting is difficult at times because she is white while her children, Louis, 11, and Laila, eight, are black.
"To say that I wished our skins matched... sometimes I do. Because then it would be easier on how people approach us," Sandra confessed to Jada and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, in a teaser promo for the program.
"And I have the same feelings as a woman with brown skin, and it being her babies. Or a white woman with white babies," she continued in the 30-second clip.
The Blind Side actress adopted Louis in 2010 when he was three and a half months old, and Laila in 2015, when she was three.
Willow Smith, Jada's daughter with Will Smith, added color shouldn't matter. "It's the mother-child dynamic. There is no color. We don't have to put a color on...," she suggested.
Bullock cut in, noting, "Maybe one day that will go away. Maybe one day we will be able to see with different eyes."
In 2015, she told Glamour Magazine she worried about her son's safety amid the rise of racist incidents in the U.S.
"You see how far we've come in civil rights - and where we've gotten back to now. I want my son to be safe. I want my son to be judged for the man he is," she said.
And last year, she appeared with Laila on a Mother's Day episode of Red Table Talk and sang her daughter's praises.
"She is our world superhero. She is going to be the one to save the world in our family," Sandra raved.
