An arrest has been made in the murder case of Crystal Gagnon.
Constable Julie Rattee says Kelowna RCMP arrested Mark Dennis Anaka in connection with the death of Gagnon.
“He was taken into custody without incident late Friday afternoon after a warrant was issued for his arrest on a charge of first degree murder,” says Rattee.
She says Anaka, a 31-year-old Kelowna resident, is known to police.
He is expected to make his first appearance in court on Tuesday.
Crystal Gagnon was found dead behind the Parkinson Recreation Centre on September 13.
