The candidates gunning to lead BC Green Party roll into Kelowna Wednesday, September 5.

“This event is the perfect opportunity for people interested in hearing what someone other than Gordon Campbell’s Liberals have to say about the future and issues important to the citizens of British Columbia,” says Angela Reid, the Deputy Leader of the Green Party of BC.

She says it's an open door meeting.

“We believe in transparency and grass-roots democracy, so everyone is welcome, even if you are not a current Green Party member. Please join us for a lively and informative debate between some of our Party’s best and most diverse people, and ask them tough questions about Green Party policy and what it will do for BC.”

Reid says candidates Damian Kettlewell, Jane Sterk, Ben West and Silvaine Zimmermann have confirmed their attendance.

The meeting takes place at the Best Western Inn. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.
