Shortly before 4 am, a man robbed the Mac's store on KLO.

Police say he was armed with a knife and got away with some cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a younger male, approximately 5'10" tall, average build, wearing a white hoodie with red lettering, red bandana, and baggy jeans.

Meanwhile, police have a suspect in custody for allegedly breaking into several cars in Kelowna's north-end early Friday morning.

Police say an alert citizen witnessed the suspect breaking into cars in the back parking lot of a housing complex on Sutherland Court.

RCMP cuffed the suspect at the scene. He's accused of breaking into five cars and taking items.

The 20-year-old suspect is known to police and is facing several counts of theft under $5,000.
