BMID Advisory Over

Black Mountain Irrigation District News Release

The Water Quality Advisory for the entire BMID service area is no longer in effect. The disruption in service, resulting in a temporary loss of flow and pressure in the main waster system, has been corrected and turbidity is below 1.0 NTU.

All cloudy water should be flushed through the system by midday Tuesday. If residents notice cloudy water or sediment in their water it can be taken care of by simply letting the tap flow until the water runs clear.

The BMID apologizes for any inconvenience this advisory has caused and appreciates the public's cooperation and patience. Any questions can be directed to the BMID at (250)765-5169.

Water turbidity is continuously monitored, and information is published on the Irrigation District's website.
