Justin Trudeau's wife Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau has recovered from coronavirus.
It was confirmed the prime minister's wife tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month, with a statement tweeted by Trudeau's communications director reading: "She is feeling well, is taking all the recommended precautions and her symptoms remain mild... The Prime Minister is in good health with no symptoms."
On Saturday, Sophie shared a statement on her Facebook page that she is feeling "much better" after testing positive for the virus on March 12.
"I am feeling so much better and have received the all clear from my physician and Ottawa Public Health," she wrote. "From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me with their well wishes. And to everyone who is suffering right now, I send you all my love."
The Trudeaus have been self-isolating after Sophie first developed flu-like symptoms after returning from a trip to the U.K.
Justin and their three children have not shown any symptoms and did not get tested.
