The Vernon Vipers fall just short to the Coquitlam Express 2-1, dropping two close back-to-back games in a row.
Coquitlam buried two power play goals in the first period and never looked back. Dawson Holt scored the lone goal for the Vipers with four seconds left in the game, but it was too little too late.
Vernon looks to rebound with a homestand this weekend, taking on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Friday and the Langley Rivermen on Saturday.
