Sting has been playing gigs in France while wearing a sling after suffering a shoulder injury.
The Fields of Gold singer first sported the sling on stage in Paris on Friday, and also wore it for two concerts in Lille over the weekend.
According to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, the star told fans he was unable to play his guitar after suffering an unspecified accident.
"Good evening. Let me explain this. I had an accident with my shoulder," he told fans. "Unfortunately I cannot play my guitar this evening, but I can sing."
The accident happened some time after he concluded a run of Japanese dates last Tuesday.
Sting, 68, was forced to cancel several tour dates back in July after he suffered from a mystery illness, but reportedly told fans "the show must go on" after his latest health problem.
He will continue his tour of France with a gig in Floriac before heading to Italy, Germany, Poland and then crossing the Atlantic to play North America next month.
