Comedian Herb Dixon plays Penticton in November

Comedy at the Cleland

Comedy veteran Herb Dixon will be in Penticton next month, bringing his legendary Harley Davidson impersonation to the Cleland Theatre on Nov. 9.

Dixon has been making audiences laugh since 1979, appearing on Ed McMahon’s Star Search in the 90s and going into perform at the 17,000-seat grandstand show at the Calgary Stampede in 2002 and 2005.

“In 2003 Herb was invited to put his Harley Davidson impression to the test by none other than Harley Davidson themselves, at the 100-year anniversary event in Milwaukee, sharing the stage with BB King,” says the show announcement. “Herb impressed the tough biker crowd and knew for certain; his Harley impression was as good as they get.”

He’s also opened for the likes of the Doobie Brothers, The Beach Boys, Blake Shelton, LeAnne Rimes and Kenny Chesney.

Tickets are $20 through Train Wreck Comedy.
