Vandals struck the Westbank Cemetery, prying bronze name plaques off dozens off grave sites.

The theft apparently occurred some time last week.

Fifty-six nameplates, mostly ones containing bronze, were stolen.

Photos show rows of bare concrete markers.

Police have yet to comment on the thefts, but residents are expressing their anger on social media.
