Vees on win streak

Contributed Penticton Vees

The Penticton Vees won't have their home opener nearly two weeks, but their season is off to a hot start on the road.

They took home their third straight victory against the Merritt Centennials Friday night, coming out on top 7-3.

"The Vees offence has struck consistently over the first three games and has scored the most goals in the BC Hockey League coming into Saturday night in Prince George," writes Trevor Miller, Vees broadcaster.

"Penticton has tallied 18 goals thus far, averaging 6 goals per game while also holding the league’s best goal differential at +13 in the young season."

The Vees' first game of the season at home is Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the South Okanagan Events Centre, and tickets can be found here
