Buy a burger, beat MS

Buy a burger and help beat MS.

Today is Burgers to Beat MS Day at A&W restaurants across Canada.

It's the 11th annual campaign to raise awareness and funds to help those living with multiple sclerosis.

For every Teen Burger sold across the country today, A&W Canada will donate $2 to the MS Society of Canada.

Over the last 11 years, A&W customers have raised more than $13 million for the cause – and the aim is to raise $2 million this year.

Canadian Olympian Christine Sinclair, a two-time medalist and Canadian women’s national soccer team captain, whose own mother has MS, encourages Canadians to rally together to help find a way to beat the disease.

An estimated 77,000 Canadians live with the disease.
