You have to crack a few eggs to make an omelette.
In this case, dignitaries and management with Cora Breakfast and Lunch cracked a few eggs together to celebrate the grand opening of the new restaurant in Vernon on Tuesday.
The "egg-cracking ceremony" has become a tradition with the breakfast chain, as invited dignitaries join with store managers all crack eggs and the first omelette is made.
This marks the first Cora's outlet in Vernon and the 11th in B.C. The opening is part of a nationwide expansion, the company said in a release.
The restaurant is located at 5601 Anderson Way in Vernon.
