In a bizarre mishap, a woman drove her SUV down a set of stairs in downtown Vancouver.

The cringe-worthy incident was captured by Ian Lampman on Friday, while he was at work.

The video first shows the vehicle stopped on the stairs at the Sheraton Wall Centre. The woman then opens her door and yells to a passer-by, “I can’t see.”

Meanwhile, people can be heard laughing in the background at the situation.

Presumably not knowing what else to do, the woman continues to drive her car down the stairs, slowly scraping the undercarriage as she goes.

She eventually makes it back down to Hornby Street, and drives off.

If the woman was hoping to keep this little mishap to herself, she’d be sadly mistaken. The video has already been shared more than 14,000 times.

Vancouver Police Department say they are looking into the incident.

“The VPD is aware of this incident and our Collision Investigation Unit is looking into it to determine the exact circumstances,” Const. Steve Addison said.

“Once we have all the facts, we will decide what enforcement action, if any, is appropriate.”
