A woman driving home to Kelowna with her family Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. was astounded to see a car driving into traffic on the wrong side of the highway on the Okanagan Connector just outside West Kelowna. 

"We just all the sudden saw this car driving, my mum was panicking," said Carlee Holden. "[The car] was driving full speed with her hazards on across the median towards oncoming traffic." 

Someone in Holden's car captured footage of the car coming to a halt as cars came toward it at high speeds near a curve in the road. 

"As we were passing her, she was obviously seeing that two lanes of traffic were coming towards her at 110 km/hour," Holden said. "It was super scary."

Holden shared the footage to remind people to drive safely on the highway.
